We begun the BHRA Aerial mapping project a year or so
ago. Initially we used aerial photos taken and
donated by others (some of these can be seen on
the maps page). In
Mid January 2003, Sam - an avid trolley fan offered to take a BHRA staff person up to take
our own aerial photos. Since the airspace over
Pennsylvania is a less crowded and a bit more accessible
we chose begin our aerial photography project there.

Here is an abandoned
Bethlehem Steel Factory. At BHRA we exclusively
use American Made Rail. The Brooklyn Trolley project
uses vintage 100lb & 110lb Rail Manufactured by
Bethlehem Steel in the Heyday of the Pennsylvania Steel
Industry and American Manufacturing.
