PANYC's 30 year effort to end public access to the Atlantic Avenue Tunnel
Note:  Evidence of a GRAFT relationship between PANYC and the Bloomberg Administration (starting in 2003) is provided in bold text below (beginning with #106). The internet links below are PANYC's (Professional Archaeologists of New York City) own newsletter writings regarding the historic Atlantic Avenue tunnel, which tell a story spanning a period of no less than three decades, of obsession, vendetta, municipal influence peddling, conspiracy, fraud and general public corruption. Notice that everything negative thats been occurring to the Atlantic Avenue Tunnel project (in particular problems starting in June 2009), is literally a blow by blow repeat of the exact same things PANYC did in the past to undermine the Atlantic Avenue tunnel project. The actions of PANYC coupled with the AAALDC's (Atlantic Avenue Association Local Development Corp.) "stolen $2.6 million" in NY City Council funding for the Atlantic Avenue tunnel project "set the table" for the current NYC DOT self-inflicted catastrophe surrounding the Atlantic Avenue tunnel. Essentially, we believe that PANYC President Jill Lynn Rakos found a "political in" with the Bloomberg administration, and PANYC has now realized its 30 year long obsession of shutting down the Atlantic Avenue tunnel tours, and through Rakos's recent (2010) hiring by Nat Geo TV as "archaeological project director" on the pending 1 hour TV special on the Atlantic Avenue tunnel, PANYC seems to have come into defacto control over the tunnel, which we believe, is in the process of being handed over to a certain real estate developer on Atlantic Avenue by the money obsessed Bloomberg administration.
